This book was beyond my wildest expectations. Listen, from the beginning to the end is a belly full of laughter. I don't recall ever reading a book and laughing so much that I nearly choked (because I was eating while reading... This is not advised if you value your life) and pee on myself.Samantha's personality takes a lot getting used to, but you can't help loving her. It's like she is living in the present, but her entire being is of another era (you have to read the book to understand). She is quirky, feisty, opinionated and has quite a few values that are old fashion and out of this world. And anything you do, please do not try to get on her wrong side because her gun🔫 is always loaded and near at hand😂
Don't let me start on the Chief. I love love the Chief, he is a riot, the things he gets up to, in comparison to how he constantly baits Samantha and gets her all riled up at his expense in the long run is a hoot... So hilarious. And poor Gabriel, who is always in the middle of the Chief and Samantha's disputes; who always has to choose a side and better ensures he is choosing the correct one that benefits him in the end. But I must say, he keeps putting things on the Chief which puts him in problems with Samantha; and the Chief does not hesitate in trying to push him under the bus with her as well.

This is not like any Silver book I have read yet, but it has been the most amusing book of all. I have laughed so hard due to the relationship between father and daughter and the antics that have happened thru out. Absolutely loved it!
This Book Deserves more than 5 Stars I Love all Jordan's Books but Gabriel's Promise had me Laughing from the Beginning I was sad to come to the end but I can always read it again!!! Your Forever Fan Trish.
I loved this romantic comedy. Jordan never fails to deliver. I loved the characters all of them. I loved how they all interacted with each other. The relationship of the Chief and Sam. Gabriel and Samantha's relationship to the end. Even the Chief and Prince Charles. This is one I would recommend and read over and over. You can't stay in a bad mood losing yourself in this story.
Samantha, Gabe and her father Charlie are an absolute hoot. I laughed out loud more than once. They are all fantastic characters and the interactions between the three of them are hysterical. A fun story-line and good writing. Absolutely hilarious. Great story Jordan Silver!
This story was a romantic disaster, rather than a romantic comedy. I had to force myself to finish it. The characters are unappealing and the humor is off the wall. The author failed to draw me in. There is no chemistry between the characters and thus all the Kissing scenes seem forced. Upon completion, this is NOT the type of book whereby the characters and/or the story pleasantly lingers in your mind, thank goodness!
I'm not good at reviews but I have read this book about 20 times. I love it. It has me dying laughing and it's very hot the couple have great chemistry. This to me is not your usual Jordan Silver story, which I have all hers, but I think it's my favorite. I love Gabe, Sam, and her dad Charlie. Such a great fun read.
I have laughed until my sides hurt... I reread this one today because I needed a good “cuddle up” book, but I had forgotten just how hilarious it is! I love the dynamic between the Chief and Sam - then you add Gabriel and the dog into the mix and there is pure bedlam! And somehow, Jordan manages to write a sexy relationship/alpha into the mix. This one did my heart good today! ❤️
