I loved everything about this book, from the quirky characters, the steamy hot Cowboys, to the two zoned-out film crew Bobbi worked with. This is the first book I've read in the series, but I just downloaded the first one, which is the story about Bobbi's long lost brother, Luke. I felt so sad for Colt at the end and I can't wait to read his story now. Aug. is a long time away right now, but I don't intend to miss it once it hits the stands.

Oh, I forgot to mention Gopher. That poor child stole my heart right from the very beginning. I just hope the author includes him in the next book, because I would love to see how he's doing, too. For a child of fourteen, two years is a very long time to be away from you mentor. I just loved the interaction between him and Trey. It so heart-warming, and sometimes it was so hilarious. Especially when it came to the two of them talking about sex and women. LOL!!!

Would I recommend this book? Yes, most definitely!

Holy Moly!

I did not think I was going love this book as much as the first...BOOM! It was AMAZEBALLS!! Trey and Bobbi's book was fanflippintastic.

I absolutely love this authors use of humor and hot sexy time. Her books are contemporary romance AT ITS BEST!

Trey is Luke's best friend and Bobbi is Luke's sister. This book is about 2 years after Luke and June get together. It is a hoot. Luke tells Trey he must keep Bobbi out of trouble and NO SEX. Well chaos ensues. Loved the premise of the reality show. Bobbi is a film maker on the outs in Hollywood.

Again I will say...this series is fun, sexy and the sweetest damn contemporary romance. I absofreakinlutely love this author. She is Jill Shalvis good. You must go and visit Sultry Springs, Texas.
Sultry Springs is not only where second chances are found but also where laughter reigns and good friends and family come together.

Down on her luck Bobbi Gallagher returns to Sultry Springs after taking a job from a trash media mogul. He wants to branch into the reality show trend and wants footage of singles out in the dating world but wants it people in a rural setting. She is hoping this will help her financially and get her back on top.

Once there she decides she wants to film Trey Lewis, who is her brother Luke's best friend and Colton Bea who is a sheriff's deputy and friends with both Luke and Trey.

We'd gotten a good glimpse of Trey in the first book and knew he was Luke's best friend and partner and had a wicked sense of humor. He didnt disappoint with that humor in this book.

In Luke's book we saw how his mother's desertion effected him and that he was envious of the sister that she took with her. But we find out that Bobbi's life with her mother was no picnic and left her with many emotional issues. Trey's family life was pretty messed up also and is still effecting him today. These two have a hard road to finding there HEA..

From the moment we meet Colton I was scratching my head wondering how this guy was going to be the main hero in the next book in the series. But the author did a fantastic job of setting things up for his book.
I really wished I could have given this book a 5 star rating like the previous book, but this one just seemed to fall short of the mark for me. Sure, it was steamy and even quite cute at times. The feelings that Bobbie and Trey definitely were there to behold, but there was a lack of focus on these two because of how the story was created. That whole reality TV show pulled away from the focus of the main characters and that pulled me away from actually reading at the pace the previous book had me at. In fact, it slowed down considerably until the last few chapters or so.

I will say this..... Trey was definitely swoon-worthy in this book. He was the right mix of gentle soul with a tough exterior and a heart of gold. I did enjoy the little glimpses in June and Luke's relationship as well as Judge Bea and Pru's friendship. The focus on a small town was still there, but there were more characters to deal with and that is what made this book only worthy of 3-1/2 stars. I would have wished to offer more, but as this book held promise.... it did not deliver.

I do happen to look forward to the next book in this series, though. It seems to offer more focus on the main characters again and hopefully a few little glimpses in the relationships of the previous books because they are all likable characters in my opinion.

So, in closing, this book held promise, but fell short of delivering. Still, it is worth reading and even recommending it to a friend. So far, all books are stand alone books, but do happen to have some ties to each other. At least between the first two books.... possibly the third (once I read it, of course).
