I had purchased another birth order book at the same time. I liked it so well that I put Dr. Hurst's (unread) book in a bag to go to Goodwill. After a few days of walking by this bag and Dr. Hurst's book laying on top, curiosity got the best of me and I took out Life's Fingerprint and began to read. And I read and I read and I read. I studied every inch of this book to the point of scheduling time to read inorder to really grasp the information that Dr. Hurst was communicating. This book is beyond anything that I have ever read on birth order. It has answered so many questions in my own life as well as relationships around me. I teach relationship classes and this book is now going to be the number one recommened book for individuals who are striving to understand family-of-origin issues. I cannot thank the author enough for his amazing insight(s). I highly suggest if you read only one birth order book in your life, that this be the one.Product details

Great book! Highly recommend.
This is an amazing book to read. You will learn a lot about birth orders. If you are a teacher - you will have a better understanding as to why students interact the way they do. It is also helpful in the work place - why is he a leader and the someone else is a follower. Anyone with siblings will get a good insight on family behavior.
I found this book full of amazing details that make you say - that's why he is like that.
The author certainly spent a lot of time researching and has included a lot of profiles of popular people -somethings you would never have known. This book is a good read.. enjoy -
Certainly Orthodontics is the perfect vantage point for anyone to test birth order theories. The book was especially helpful in the double or second birth order -- areas that don't seem to fit but really do.
I'm actually really also interested in the second or third generation effects on birth-order. For example it's different for a firstborn to be raised by a firstborn or a different birth order. Don't parents identify strongly with children of their own birth order?
Another question is well so, what should we be doing with this information? I mean, we are the way we are, but what if we don't like how we are? Does it help to leave town as you mention some birth orders to do? Is it better to fight things out or just move on? Can people move on?
All of the information was interesting especially the stories about public figures. I hope you can do even more work on these issues in future.
