Love the book
I don't give reviews with any spoilers or really any information about the story. I only give recommendations. I highly recommend this series,but start with the first one or your really missing out on two great books and some needed back story. This series has laugh out loud moments and is extremely difficult to put down. The only negative is waiting on the next one.
I've read this series since the first book. I really enjoy the books by Sandra Hill. These are really special. I hope there really are vikings like these watching out for us. The mix of humor, romance and vampire/angels is just right. Enjoy!
Sandra Hill has three (to date) of the "Deadly Angels" series and I applaude her ingenious writing of a very unusual 'paranormal' romance novel series. I have a lot of favorite books/series and authors, but, this series if my favorite of all time--so far. If you read one, you will not be able to stop before devouring all of them! Thumbs up to Sandra for a real winner of a series! Be sure to keep up with her other offerings as you will find them all delicious.
This book was terrific. The humor included in this story throughout the entire story kept me laughing. I especially loved Tantu Lulu, who is a riot! A sad part of the story locale is Angola Prison. I'm glad that this story has a happy ending for all.
Sandra Hill has put a new twist on Heaven, hell Angels and Demons! Just enough detail to make you wonder what really walks among us. The detail to the locations, especially this one with Louisiana, was fairly accurate. My only question was retrial being located in East Feliciana Parish when Angola is in West Feliciana Parish, but she would not be the first person to get something in the wrong parish. Attorney to it all the time. LOL Loved that this one brought in the characters from her Cajun series (The Love Potion being the 1st in series). So if your are going to read the Vangels series, read the Cajun first so you'll know who the people are in Vangels Book #3 Kiss of Temptation.
I've read all of Sandra Hill's books and loved them all. She throws adventure, comedy, passion, romance, love and fantasy into her historical romances. 'Kiss of Temptation' is the 3rd in her Vampire Viking Angel series. Hunky undercover vampire viking angels sent by God to save sinners in danger of being "turned" to pure evil by Satan's lucipires (lucies) thus claimed by the devil for whatever horror pleases him most at the time. This story revolves around one of the VIKS (one of the head vampire viking angels) falling head over heels for the sister of the con man he's to rescue. This story is extra special because she revives her cajon heroes and heroines, Tante Lulu and her family, and weaves them into this outrageously comical love story. Can't wait for the next in the series!
